Exec Board 2012

Lexi Targan, Executive Director
Semester in Kill-A-Watt: 4th
Year: Senior
Major: Program in the Environment (+ Pre-Medicine)
Why I joined Kill-A-Watt: I want to have an impact on an issue that affects all people and raise awareness about energy conservation to fellow students and community members.  Kill-A-Watt has made me a true believer in individual action to make positive change.  Together we really can make a difference!
Favorite way to save energy: I use a power strip with a switch and flip it off when I leave the house.  It is convenient and shuts off the power to all of the connected appliances (say goodbye to vampire energy)!
Random Fact:  I can only snap with my left hand.

Favorite way to save energy:
 Open blinds and use sunlight!

Kelsey Tremberth, Finance Chair
Semester in Kill-A-Watt: 4th (since its birth in Winter 2010)
Year: Senior
Majors: Economics and Program in the Environment
Why I joined Kill-A-Watt: I received a mass email from Katie Kent sent to PitE students, and replied by saying something like, “I like to sit in the dark, so I would really like to join this organization.”
Favorite way to save energy: Turning off all the lights.  I honestly prefer to sit in the dark, and my roommates complain all the time because if I see a light switch on, I turn it off, even if they’re only out of the room for a few minutes.  Sometimes I’ll turn the lights off on them on accident, just out of habit.
Random fact: I like to combine weird foods together.  In grade school, I would dip my Polish kielbasa into orange-flavored yogurt and I would put raisins in my applesauce.
